Pilates Home Studio

For a home studio I recommend the Studio Reformer from Balanced Body with a Tower Retrofit. Black upholstery will have a better resale value though in setting up your home studio you have the options of other colors such as cream or burgundy just to name a few of the options.  Remember that lighter colors will show dirt and blemishes more easily.  Balanced Body equipment will also last a lifetime.

I typically recommend the 14” Studio Reformer with the Revo Footbar: https://www.pilates.com/store/pilates-equipment/reformers/pilates-studio-reformer/
The retrofit will also give you a lay flat surface for mat work and seated work.

Your talking a total investment over $5000 but your also looking at a smaller footprint as it will take the space of one reformer and have the same use as both reformer, table and mat.  It’s an investment, but it’s also sturdy works well and has a lifetime warranty to the original owner.

Please note that the reformer also comes in 18″ and 24″ height.  In some cases this may be more appropriate for a home studio but it is best to consult with your trainer for the best fit.

I am here for you if you have any questions.  They do make them to order so delivery even in the best of times can be weeks.  Since they are made in Sacramento you may also be able to do a self-pickup. They usually have items they use for workshops where it is possible to get one at a reduced price, obviously workshops aren’t happening right now but they might have one available which is gently used.
