Small Group Pilates in San Francisco
Some of the best progress happens with a partner. In a small group of two or three, you get focused attention from Larry and the motivation of training alongside someone you know. Every person in the group still gets an individual look at their movement, but the format brings a little more energy and shared accountability.
Why small groups
Larger classes make it hard to get feedback on your own alignment. In a group of two or three, Larry can see each person clearly, offer specific cues, and adjust the work to each body in the room. It’s a middle ground between private sessions and a standard class.
What to expect
- Groups of two to three people, with [a consistent or rotating schedule]
- Each session begins with a short check-in so Larry can see how everyone is moving
- The same method used in private sessions, adapted for the group
- Modifications for different levels and needs within the same class
- Clear cueing so you learn the reasons behind each exercise
Who it’s for
- Friends or partners who want to train together
- People who want more support than a large class but a lower cost than private sessions
- Clients who are motivated by a shared goal or routine
- Anyone who wants individual attention in a social setting

Working with your care team
Small group classes are not a substitute for medical treatment. If you’re recovering from an injury or surgery, or managing a health condition, please check with your physician or physical therapist before joining, and let Larry know your history when you first meet.
